こんぴらさんのお膝元。事が開く町、琴平町の老舗染物屋です。香川県伝統的工芸である【讃岐のり染】という技法で、暖簾・大漁旗・神社幕・幟・獅子舞の油単・袢纏などなど、ひとつずつ、心を込めて、手作業で染めています。
デザイン作成から、染め、縫製まで、すべての工程を自社で行っています。
令和元年より、琴平町で育てた藍を使い、すくも作り・藍建て・染め・縫製、すべて讃岐産にこだわった、色落ちのない【讃岐正藍染】を新しく立ち上げました。
The knee of the Kompira-san. This is a long-established dyeing shop in Kotohira, a town where things open up. We dye curtains, fishing banners, shrine curtains, banners, lion dance oilcloths, lintels, etc. one by one by hand using the “Sanuki Nori Dyeing” technique, which is a traditional craft of Kagawa Prefecture. All processes, from designing to dyeing and sewing, are done in-house. Since 2028, we have been using indigo grown in Kotohira-cho, and have newly launched the Sanuki Sho-Ai Dyeing process, which uses indigo grown in Kotohira-cho, and focuses on making, dyeing, and sewing all Sanuki products with no color fading.
